All Progressive Conferences (APCs) in the Brutu Local Government Area have recognized Alapala Anthony Ebitonmo’s post at the Delta State Capitol.
Alapala’s recognition is part of a resolution reached at a party leadership meeting on Saturday.
Alapala, who represented Burutu constituency 1 at the Congress, was ruled to be “well-served” and was adopted unanimously by members of the party (especially his voters).

Alapala was represented by his aide, Mr. Cyril Tonfa, who praised the unwavering support and commitment to his government by members of the party.

The House Minority Leader expressed his gratitude to the constituency that stood with him before, during and after the elections.
Other resolutions reached during the critical meeting include the need for old party members to build and maintain strong strength at the grassroots level.

The meeting unanimously resolved the party’s next president, appearing from the sprawling constituency 1, as the current one comes from Burutu constituency II.
The meeting was also determined to register for new members to be put on hold until the party leaders received “further instructions”.
