The All Progressive Conference of Delta State (APC) welcomes the Governor Sheriff Oberevwori rebellion.
This is included in a statement signed by the former vice president of the 9th Senate and APC leaders in Delta State Ovie Omo-Agege.
Obervi Worri and all defector Democratic Party (PDP) are welcomed in the Delta state, according to a statement received by Nigeria.

In 2023, the APC’s governor’s flag bearer further accused all of the party’s buildings, providing a mass for Oborevwori and its common missing formal welcome ceremony, scheduled for Monday in Asaba, the capital of the Delta State.
The declaration is read completely:
“The leaders of the Delta National Chapter of the All Progressive Conference (APC) warmly welcomed his Excellency, Governor Sheriff Oberevwori, and all leaders and members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to join all Progressive Conference (APC).
“This historic move underscores the success of President Bora Tinubu’s new hope agenda in driving our country’s growth and development.

“In light of the national leadership of our party, the progressive governor’s forum and the deliberations of the Delta APC stakeholders, I hope to assure all stakeholders that any issues arising from this development are carefully considered and managed and in the best interests of our party and our beloved nation and the best interests and visions of our beloved nation.
“Let us embrace this development with a shared commitment to the progress of the Delta nations and Nigeria.
“In this new brotherhood at Delta APC, I urge all LGA and Ward Chairman, their executives, party members and our supporters, who have a large number of converged our new members, who welcomed the APC on Monday, April 28, 2025 in Asaba.
“This development reaffirms our commitment to progressive governance and promises to bring a better future for our people and for the more prosperous, secure and UN Nigeria. We will work tirelessly to achieve greatness for Delta and Nigeria.
“I also take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his political flexibility and visionary leadership, as well as the strong support and relentless efforts of the President and the National Working Committee of the National APC. Perhaps their efforts continue to bring positive results to our great political party.”
Recall that Governor Oborevwori announced his defection at the end of a key meeting last week, as well as the defection of other PDP leaders.
