I reflect extensively on my inexcusable failure to realize that legislative success in some respects is clearly obtained not through merits but through the ancient art of compliance, which is very personal.

Indeed, I have to prioritize surrender for the priority of ability, the vision of vanity and the task of the private dinner behind closed doors.
