
Jesutega Onokpasa, chief of All Progressive Conference (APC), made efforts to President Bola Tinubu, saying the president was “based on the performance of his administration,” and the president “defeated.”
Onokpasa spoke in an interview with Arise TV on Sunday, April 27, warning that if President Tinubu’s performance, if his performance does not improve, he may end up being a president for tenure. Onokpasa also wonders why the Delta Governor Oborevwori, who he called his cousin, defected to APC. He went on to mention that the governor’s defection to the ruling party did not add any value to the APC or the state.
“President Bola Tinubu failed, could not rule well, provided food to Nigerians and succeeded in these difficult times.
Oberevwori, the governor who recently rebelled to our party, was actually my cousin. I have no idea why he defected to our political party. He did not inform me. I wish him all the best.
I think it has no value to him, our party or the delta state.
The whole idea of packing people into our party – not democracy. Interestingly, you have to always have objections because people have to disagree. The idea of a one-party state is simply impossible to achieve.
There must be disagreements. Even in our political parties, we disagree.
I can tell you for free that at the speed we are going, all these things (defection) won’t help us in 2027. If we are not careful, Bola Tinubu will eventually become a president. Quote me anywhere. ” He said
