    Police kill 5 kidnappers to restore AK-47 in Delta

    • The Delta State Police Command has suppressed a kidnapping group in the state.

    • The troops and suspects were intervened while snatching ammunition from them.

    The Delta State Police Department’s men are among members of a group of kidnappers in the state.

    The unit reportedly rushed into the kidnapper Dan and was subjected to a fierce gunfight after reliable intelligence.

    A spokesman for the National Police Commander confirmed the incident, and SP Bright EDAFE said in a statement issued in the Delta State capital on Sunday, April 27 that the suspects are known for intimidating the areas around Ubulu-Uku, Issele-Uku, Issele-Uku, Issele-Uku, Issele-Uku, Issele-Asagba and Delta states.

    The PPRO added that officers rushed into one of their hideouts in the Agu-Amawbia forest in Anambra state.

    He said

    “The investigation expanded to the hiding place of another criminal in the forest between Issele-Asagba and Otulu, where a bellow Abubakar and his gang members waited in the ambush.

    When seeing the police, the alleged kidnappers attacked them in a fierce gunfight, but agents, they realized that the battle that came was paying off in the same way.

    “The suspects cannot withstand the firepower of the operators because they are heading towards varying degrees of bullet damage in different directions.

    “Five of the suspects, including Bellow Abubakar, who could not escape due to the severity of the injury, were taken to the hospital but confirmed dead.”

    EDAFE added that an AK-47 rifle and 132 rounds of on-site ammunition were found from the suspect, and AE efforts were made to arrest injured and fleeing gang members.
