Osan State Governor Ademola Adeleke responded to the latest developments within the Democratic Party (PDP), including the resignation of House Representative Wole Oke.

Naija News Adeleke admitted that some party members were opposing his reelection bid, but he assured the public his commitment to national development and democratic dividends, the report said.

In a statement issued by his spokesman Olawale Rasheed, the governor tried to calm the tension surrounding Oak’s resignation and ensure that the party’s loyalists did not lose any real supporters.

The statement reads, “We know how we went to the House of Representatives, we know the Gods who were made possible in the past. We know those who worked openly or silently to stop us. We also know those who opposed us at the time, but have now accepted our mantra of good governance.”

Governor Adeleke further stressed that despite the opposition, his administration expanded its base and support, especially due to the defection of several members of his rivals.

He added, “Our excellent work has enabled us to increasingly support our supporters, partners and kind-hearted people.”

Adelk noted the inclusiveness of his administration, which, according to him, benefited all federal voters in Oxen.

He highlighted the important representatives of various constituencies in the cabinet and emphasized the fairness of development projects across the state.

“Our government treats all federal districts fairly. A specific federal district has three key portfolios in my cabinet. Our subordinate programs benefit all corners of the state. Our local content programs spread the opportunity to everyone and everyone,” He said confirming his commitment to a government that truly suits all Osun people.

The governor also addressed concerns about internal party challenges, including ongoing issues in the local government system.

His confrontation with the legal framework was quickly resolved and reaffirmed the importance of grassroots mobilization success in the upcoming elections.

“We must avoid distractions and continue to target grassroots mobilization. In the context of the rule of law, we will soon resolve the confrontation within the local government system,” said Dr. Adelake said.

Adeleke took this opportunity to thank the individuals and groups who recognized his second term for their loyalty and commitment to the PDP.

“I must express my gratitude to the groups and individuals who recognize our second term and who commit to solidarity, loyalty and commitment to the PDP,” He came to the conclusion
