Bishop Jacks will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board and the Spiritual Supervisor of the Porter House when performing his daily priesthood duties. His growing focus will include expanding the program under the TD Jakes Group, addressing systemic social and economic challenges, and amplifying his voice through new media partnerships such as his upcoming IheartPodcasts Show (My Next Chapter).
The appointment of Pastor Touré and Sarah Jakes Roberts reflects years of intentional succession plans. The Roberts family moved from Los Angeles to Dallas in 2022, indicating that commitment to the department has deepened. Rev.
