    The court remanded the worker, allegedly K!

    A court in Akure District Court has remanded John Odah, 34, who allegedly cut off his employer’s husband to the farm.

    The defendant, who was hired by the deceased to work on their farm, was allegedly chopped off the deceased on his head, and it was amid a fierce debate between them.

    Odah allegedly provided the denied late Indian marijuana, leading to confrontation.

    He has since been charged in court on one count.

    Prosecutor Inspector Nelson Akintimehin told the court that the defendant committed the crime at the Agbajo Farm in Ilu-Abo in the northern local government area of ​​Akruel, Ador State at about 2 p.m.

    Akintimehin claimed that Odah caused a fatal machete wound on the forehead of the deceased, which ultimately led to his D3ATH.

    The charge reads: “You, John Odah, M, April 18, 2025, 2:00 pm: Afternoon, Agbajo Farm, through Ilu-Abo in the Akure magazine district, did cutlass cut cuttherclane of his forehead and back, shrunk for a Sunday innocent “M”.

    According to the charges, the offences violate sections 319 (1) and 320 (1) of the Ondo State Criminal Law Act of 2006.

    The defendant’s request was not made by the District Court.

    Due to the nature of the crime, prosecutors pray that the court will return the defendant to any correctional facilities in the state to await the Public Prosecutor’s Office, DPP.

    Mrs. O. Omotosho approved the request, citing the defendant’s remand in the correctional center and directed the prosecutor to copy the DPP’s case files.

    The case has been adjourned until May 30, 2025.
