Nigerian singer Shalllipopi has been on the X to share his thoughts on the recently concluded 2025 Headies Awards, where he won the coveted Best Rap Single for hit songs Throwin Odumodublvck.
Nigerian singer Crown Uzama (commonly known as shalllipopi) publicly convened organizers of the 2025 Headies Awards after his experience at the just-concluded ceremony in Lagos.

He wrote, in a frank tweet “mtchewwwwww,” followed by, “Next, if una sees me, make me bend over.” He continues to add, “I even lied for Una Sef, and I didn’t want that award, given the real rapper Wey Dey category, and my shalllippi i wasn’t a rapper either.”
His comments not only reflect his disappointment in missing out on other categories Next ratingsHe was nominated, but also emphasized his sense of self, openly saying that he doesn’t consider himself a rapper and believes that others in the category deserve more recognition.
