The Philadelphia Eagles headed to the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl Lix victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, but President Donald Trump robbed the headlines during the celebrations at pop star Pop Star Taylor Swift.
While congratulating the team on its impressive 40-22 victory, Trump took the opportunity to throw a shadow at Swift, who became a Chiefs fan and dated romantically with their star player Travis Kelce.
In his speech, Trump recalled Swift watching the game himself while watching it, saying: “It was an incredible game. It was a bit surprising, but I was there since the first quarter of the big game. This quote comes after Trump’s series of comments on Swift, often criticizing her in public ways.
Earlier this year, Trump used his Truth Social Platform to quickly receive comments about boos during the Super Bowl: “The only person who has a tougher night than the Kansas City Chief is Taylor Swift. In September 2024, after Swift recognized Kamala Harris as president, Trump posted a message on “The Truth Society”: “I hate Taylor Swift! ”
Despite the romping play ter against Swift, the rest of the event went smoothly. Trump expressed support for the popular “Tush Push” drama, which is discussing potential exile in the NFL.
Yet, the Eagle’s visit was not without obvious absence. Team quarterback Jalen Hurts reportedly missed the event due to “arrangement conflicts” and Ohio Senator JD Vance has not participated in past White House ritual accidents.
