The Lagos State Police Command has arrested two people involved in a series of armed robbery attacks in Layeni Ojo Road, Ajegunle.
The suspect was arrested by agents from the Layeni division, Azeez Anofi’M’, 25-year-old, also known as stainless steel and Damilare Obadia’M, 25-year-old, attempted to snatch a tricycle, commonly known as Keke Marwa.
After being arrested, a locally made pistol and a consumed ink cartridge were found from the suspect. Further investigations begin arresting other suspects and recovering other operating weapons.
National Police Chief CP Olohundare Jimoh arrested them to journalists while commending the officials’ swift response, urging the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the police for appropriate action.
