
A fourth agency has been discovered as the search for three missing South African police officers made a twist on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
Although not confirmed, it is believed that the three bodies may be the bodies of missing police officers 20-year-old Constable Boipelo Senoge, 24-year-old Constable Cebekhulu Linda, and 30-year-old Constable Keamogetswe.
The officers were last at a gas station near Grasmere Toll Gate, N1, Gauteng, in the early hours of Thursday, April 24.
They were traveling through Gauteng from the Free State and then heading to Limpopo.
Earlier, police confirmed that three bodies were retrieved from Hennops River in Centurion near Tshwane, and police were working to check if they were related to members of the SA Police Department (SAPS) who mysteriously disappeared last week.
National police spokesman Athlenda Mathe emphasized that the three bodies found in the river were not identified before noon.
“SAPS confirmed that its investigation has taken it to the Hennops River in N1 Centurion. So far, we have three bodies and their identity has not been confirmed.”
“We are looking for another body, and any other evidence that can help us conclude the missing police.”
South African police and private security companies are on the scene, and police insist that the search for missing police is still underway.
National Police Commissioner General Fannie Masemola announced a R350,000 reward on Sunday to obtain information that could lead to three missing police officers.
Masemola addressed a reporter from Bloemfontein, flanked by senior officials, including Free State Prime Minister Maqueen Letsoha-Mathae and Deputy National Police Crime Scout Commissioner Lieutenant Shadrack Sibiya.
“We are full of hope and we will find anyone. Any information about the whereabouts of our members, and the whereabouts of those criminals, the whereabouts of our own disappearances. ”
Media previously reported that the last known location for the three officials was at Engen Fuel Station in Gauteng on Thursday.
The vehicles they were traveling at the left gas station, vehicle tracking equipment and cell phones were turned off.
The trio traveled in a Volkswagen Polo hatchback with registration number JCL 401 FS.
