One of the alleged promoters of cryptocurrency trading platforms, Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX), Adefowora Abiodun, has voluntarily succumbed to the investigation to the Commission on Economic and Financial Crime (EFCC).
EFC announces that Seyi Oloyede, Emmanuel Uko, Adefora Oluwanisola and Adefora Abiodun Olaonipekun want to be related to the scams related to CBEX.
Last Thursday, the Federal High Court in Abuja granted the EFCC permission to arrest and detain six suspected CBEX facilitators, pending investigation and possible prosecution. Justice Emeka Nwite issued an order after a unilateral motion filed by EFCC lawyer Fadila Yusuf.
