EFCC Ola Olukoyede, chairman of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, responded to the statement that the committee is full of corruption.
There are complaints that the committee’s agents corruptly enrich themselves while performing their duties.
In response to the allegations, Olukoyede said in an interview with channel television on the evening of April 30.
“It is important for me and my comrades in the EFCC that if we are to fight corruption, we must fight it from a strong standpoint. We immersed in the minds of every surgical person in the EFCC, we studied records, we investigated cases of those with disciplinary cases and those who committed one violation or another, we formed a discipline committee, and we found a lot of them to be restricted. We reviewed this and agreed that these people should leave the system, and Nigerians know that this is exactly what we do.
We didn’t stop. We are still looking at a lot of cases and we will start taking action and taking sanctions.

“I won’t sit here and say that everyone has become the saint of the EFCC. That day will never come everyone will become a saint. People who work at the EFCC are human and not spiritual. People will have this tendency to perform poorly, overly enthusiastic and all of these tendencies.
My commitment to Nigerians is that once we find out about such a role, we do something according to our process and the law’
