Manchester City has gained a huge boost ahead of the upcoming game, and the FA Cup final is coming.
Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is the latest player to be obtained by the club as confirmed that the Norwegian has recovered from an ankle injury and has recovered from full training. The 24-year-old Norwegian was injured in the 2-1 FA Cup quarterfinals against Bournemouth on March 30.
Since then, Hyland has been focusing on personal training programs as part of his recovery process. Now, he rejoined the first team, although his exact competition is uncertain. Manager Pep Guardiola is expected to provide an update at a press conference before the clash with the Wolves on Thursday, scheduled to kick off at 8:00 p.m. (WAT).
Rodri damage update

In another improvement from Manchester City, 28-year-old midfielder Rodri also re-trained the first team after a long absence. Spain International has won the 2024 Ballon d’Or since suffering an ACL last year.
Rodri, who had a solo training session at Manchester City’s Etihad campus earlier this year, is believed to be in line with the club World Cup in June, rather than the remaining matches of the Premier League or FA Cup finals.
Last week, Guardiola commented on Rodri’s progress, saying: “Rodri performed well in every training session with us and he was eager to compete. However, the medical team needs to give him a green light and let him take it for a few minutes. I believe their judgment on this matter. ”
Currently, Manchester City ranks fourth in the Premier League rankings, putting the title in the new champion Liverpool after four consecutive victories. The team will host Wolves on Friday night and face Crystal Palace in the FA Cup final at Wembley on May 17, 2025.
