The IMO state government announced its intention to implement the recommendation of the National Judicial Commission (NJC) to appoint acting chief judges.
Naija News Recalling NJC has Announced earlier appointment Justice Theophilus Nzeukwu As acting chief judge for IMO State Null and Void, guide Governor hopes Uzodinma Immediately reverse the decision and appoint the state’s highest judicial officer, in line with the provisions of the 1999 Constitution.
The decision is part of a resolution adopted during the 108th meeting of the NJC held from 29 April to 30 March 2025 under the President of the Chief Justice of Nigeria. Justice Kudirat small intensityis based on the constitutional requirement for appointing the acting chief judge when the position is appointed.
