The 49-year-old comedian and actor flew back to the UK from the United States to attend the hearing. During a brief court meeting, Brand, wearing an open shirt and jeans, held his sunglasses behind his back, confirmed his name, date of birth, address, and understood his bail terms.
Brand is charged with one count of R@PE, indecent assault and oral R@PE, as well as two counts of sexual assault. The allegations involved four independent women and began several years since 1999.
One of the alleged attacks occurred after a dramatic event held in Bournemouth in 1999, the court heard. Brand was accused of taking off some clothes while the complainant was in the bathroom, and later pushed her onto the bed, removed her lingerie and then r@ping her.
Another complainant claimed that the brand hesitated to attack her in 2001, grabbing her forearm and trying to drag her into the station’s male toilet.
In another incident in 2004, Brand was accused of meeting a woman in Soho, grabbing her breasts, and then taking oral R@Ping her in the toilet. The final allegation involved radio station employee brand encountered while working on Channel 4 Big brother’s mouth Between 2004 and 2005. He allegedly grabbed her in the face, pushed her against the wall, kissed her, and groped her.

Brand arrived in court on Friday, May 2, with the presence of big media, but did not speak to reporters. Before the hearing, he said in a video posted on account X that he welcomed the opportunity to prove his innocence. He plans to appear in Old Bailey on May 30.
Originally from Essex, the brand gained prominence in the 2000s through his work Big brother Spinoffs and BBC Radio 2 shows, he left that behind after a prank voicemail controversy for actor Andrew Sachs. He currently lives in the United States with his wife Laura Gallacher and his two children.
