Nigeria News Nalin The Lagos State High Court sitting in the Tafawa Balewa Square has reportedly sentenced Andrew Nice Aminikoron, the driver of Lagos Bus Rapid Transport (BRT), to be hung for killing a 22-year-old fashion designer Bamise Ayanwola.
Trial Judge Sherifat Sonaike made a verdict on Friday, May 2, 2025.
Recall that the Lagos State Government tried Aminikoren on four charges of conspiracy, murder and two counts of rape.
Prosecutors claim that on November 25, 2021, Aminikoren raped a 29-year-old woman Ncheka Maryjanesin Lagos. He has also been accused of conspiring with others who are still huge to sexually assault his 22-year-old passenger Rebuilderbefore murdering her.
