Lawyer Deji Adeyanju has made the latest news about the arrest of social critic Martins Otse, commonly known as very black.
Adeyanju revealed in an article shared on his X handle that VDM has been detained by the EFCC Economic and Financial Crime Commission. He mentioned that his lawyer had found the location where VDM was, but activists refused to see anyone.
”VDM Detention at EFCC: Our attorney, led by the head of our company @Marvin_Omorogbe, just met a friend of VDM who was arrested with him in EFCC detention. VDM refused to come out. He won’t see anyone. The VDM was locked inside the GTB exit door for more than 5 minutes to allow the EFCC to arrest him and his friends. We will take legal action against GTB to implement inhumane treatment to our clients. We will issue a public statement soon. ”
