The Kano State Government responded to the corruption allegations of Baffa Bichi, former secretary of the state government.
Bichi claims that, as previously announced, his removal was not just due to health problems. He accused Governor Abba Yusuf of managing massive corruption, claiming that it exceeded misconduct by the former government under Abdullahi Ganduje.
“We claim that Ganduji did something wrong in his eight years, and this government has done ten times in just two years. “We only doubt Ganduji, but for this, we have evidence. They promised ten times in less than two years. ” Beach said.
The National Information and Home Affairs Commissioner responded to Friday’s claim, Ibrahimdescribes the allegations as politically motivated, unfounded and attempts to mislead the public.
“We find that his claim is not only unfortunate, but also deeply misleading.
“This administration is committed to transparency, accountability and service delivery. It is unjust to compare it with the previous administration and unjust to the people of Kano State,” Waiya said.
Waiya challenges forward SSG to provide verifiable evidence.
“If he does have corruption proof, we will challenge him to introduce it publicly. The accusation of empty will not derail the progress of this administration. ” He said.
He also clarified Bichi’s withdrawal from the government.
“We deliberately concealed the actual reasons for his removal from the office and said it was caused by respect for him. But let’s know that his sack is not purely for health reasons,” Waiya said.
Waiya added that he expressed concern about Bichi’s behavior:Given the nature of his recent outbreak, I strongly recommend him seeking proper medical assistance. His health should be his main focus now. ”
