Tunde Onakoya, the chess champion and social influence advocate behind slums, recently responded to Twitter allegations of tribal bias and carried out ideas about division and manipulation in thought-provoking metaphors.
User claims: “I have never seen anyone outside the Yoruba tribe.”
In response, Tunde invokes the famous ant can metaphor
“If you put 100 black ants and 100 red ants in a jar, nothing will happen. But if you shake the jar, that ant will start killing each other…the real enemy is the one who shakes the jar.”
He then resolved the source of the attack. “I was tagged with ‘ewedu Excellence’ this morning… The tribalism and paranoia here really made me feel bad. It never looked like this.” “I hope to see one day I’m not your enemy. It’s the ones who shake the jars we have to fight.”
