Human rights lawyer Deji Adeyanju vowed to take legal action against the Guaranteed Trust Bank (GTBANK) for alleged involvement in the recent arrest and reported abuse of people who are very stubborn social media activists and their colleague C-Park.
In a strongly worded statement posted on Facebook on Saturday, Adeyanju criticized what the bank called “bad behavior” and promised to cut off all financial ties with the institution.
“Once I return to Nigeria on Tuesday, I will transfer all my funds from GTB to another bank and close the account. In my Naira and residence accounts, I will transfer it to another bank,” Adeyanju wrote.

“Bad behavior must have consequences. We will still sue the bank for its role in VDM arrests and inhumane treatment and his friend C-Park.”
