East African athletes are center stage in the 2025 Enugu City International Marathon title 42km.
Kenya runner Ken Kopos won the highest award, won the highest award at 2:22:32 and brought home $15,000.
Following closely behind are Kenyans Steve Baswey and Bernard Sang, who finished second and third, earning $10,000 and $5,000 respectively.

Blessing Shambo became Nigeria’s fastest female runner, ranking fourth in the Women’s Classic with a score of 2:48:04. She made 1 million.
On the men’s side, Davou Gyang led the local contingent, ending with a score of 2:29:03, earning 1 million.
