Lagos-based pastor Chris Oyakhilome has re-controversial after asking his group to ignore medical advice against taking salt.
While preaching to his church members today on May 4, Oyakhilome played some documentaries to them showing white doctors denounced the claims that salt is not good for the body.
At all they said, Oyakhilome argued that many people stood out from strokes and other ailments because they listened to doctors’ advice to avoid taking salt.
“We listen to so-called professionals, and many people are listening to them. Think about how many people suffer from strokes and various diseases because they listen to doctors. Think about how many people are afraid of salt. In fact, they eliminate salt from the food.
I thought I was the same, but that’s why I talked to you about convenient prayer. The Spirit of God speaks and guides me from the language of prayer. I speak in dialect, the solution is here.
You have to let others know. You need salt, not salt. All the patients who are being treated in the hospital, they are giving them salt, but they don’t know. They repackage it and sell it to you in different forms. ”
He tells how God used salt to heal people. He continued reading the Bible, Mark 9:50, in which Jesus said that salt is good and that people should have salt and be peaceful to each other.
His message sparked an online conversation. While some agree with him, others believe that the information may create a medical crisis, as some may ignore doctors’ advice and start taking salt instead.
