
The bandits reportedly killed a woman simply known as Rami.
Daily Trust reported that the victim fought side by side at her husband Yakubu Dada, Kontagora Road, Niger State on October 31, 2024.
The kidnappers earlier collected 10 million ransoms from the family and are now asking for an additional 220 million N 20 million N and 4 Bajaj motorcycles, threatening to kill Dada if their request is not met.
Daily Trust reported that Dada, a resident of the brighter areas of Minna and a retired civil servant, went to Kontagora several kilometers with his youngest wife while heading to Kontagora.
His eldest wife, Maimuna, said in an interview that the family sold nearly all of the items, including a family room, two cars, beds, TVs and other valuables, to raise the original NNN NON 10 million ransomware and pay in November.
Dada’s younger brother reportedly delivered the payment to the kidnappers in Kebi State Forest in November 2024.
