Peter Obi's assistant joins APC in negotiations? Presidency

Daniel Bwala, special adviser to the President of Media and Policy Communications, claimed that some colleagues of Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi are discussing the rule of all Progressive Congresses (APCs).

Bwala said in an interview with TVC on Monday, May 6 that one of Obi’s main handlers has joined the APC, while another is currently in talks with the party leader. He also revealed that one of Obi’s media aides expressed interest in defecting to the ruling party.

“The governor is joining our party independently, but more importantly, the key figures of the last presidential election are about to participate,” Bwala said.

For example, one of Peter Obi’s handlers is already with us and are currently discussing another. Even his media spokesperson is considering this. ”

According to Bwala, their interests are not driven by economic incentives, but a belief in the intentions of the current government.

“No one gives them money. They’re here because, even though we’re not perfect, they see our hearts in the right place, our heads are clear, and we’re working on building a national consensus.”
