Police said three people were injured after a shooting at a restaurant in Phoenix, Arizona, on Sunday evening, May 4.
Glendale Police Department official Moroni Mendez said in a briefing that police received a call from the shooting around 7.45 p.m.
Mendes said three people were injured and five others were injured by gunfire or shrapnel.

“Obviously, there are a lot of people here,” Mendes said. “A lot of people attending some kind of event. Anyone with information, please come forward and provide us with it because, as we have said recently, there are three dead. So we want to make sure we conduct a complete and thorough investigation and have the rights of the victim.”
Police believe that more than one shooter was involved. Mendes said investigators had no suspects but were questioned.
Bystander Lupe Rodriguez said he was in safety. He was shocked, but he said he and his friends survived.
“There is a man on the ground and it doesn’t look like he did,” Rodriguez said. “His father yelled his name. It’s awful.”
