Victony features a mix of his viral hit song “Soweto” and features Rema, Tempoe and Don Toliver.

Three years after one of his greatest works was released so far, singer Victory unlocked career milestones in a mix of the hit song “Soweto” on Spotify.

Victony’s “Soweto” remix for Don Toliver, Rema and Tempoe hosted Spotify’s 200 million streams, a big moment for the “stubborn” singer.

This is the first song for Victony and Tempoe to reach this milestone, and Rema’s fourth song, which further cements his position among the global heavyweights in the genre.

Originally released as part of the Victony Outlaw EP, Soweto quickly became a viral favorite with its laid back rebound, melodic whistle and infectious hooks.

Don Toliver’s smooth vocals and Rema’s signature talent gave the track a new twist, helping it cross international audiences and occupy the streaming platform.

From Tiktok trends to global playlists, Soweto From local hits to global national anthem.

This milestone is not only a career moment for Victony and Tempoe, but also a mark of the continued development and breaking barriers for African music. As the stream continues to climb, one thing is clear that Soweto is not just a hit song, it is evergreen.
