Governor Sule reflects on his technical background during the roundtable meeting between the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) and the Nasarawa State Government at Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja.
“One thing is that before I became a CNC mechanic, I actually started educating as a welder as a technician,” he said. “As you can see, shielded arc metal welding, diethylene oxide welding, once I ended up with the governor, I’m going to do the welding.”
The governor stressed that his administration has invested heavily in technical education to build a skilled workforce in the state. “According to NBTE, we have built one of the most standard technical institutions. In fact, even most of the large companies that train in Abuja, they train them in Nasarawa of that particular institution.”
