Lagos State Environment and Water Resources Commissioner Tokunbo Wahab retweeted an article asking homeless people to go home if they are not making a living in Lagos.
It was after some Nigerians reacted angrily to the video he shared earlier today, showing the state environmental workers the arrest of the homeless under the bridges of the state.
The video has sparked emotions among some Nigerians as it shows that an elderly man was also arrested at the moment of shelter under the bridge and was asked to evacuate under the bridge.
Wahab mentioned in an earlier tweet that 74 people, including the arrested homeless, would be arraigned in court.
