A man claimed he was “stereotyped” by Instagram after a prompt was sent to someone who tried to send him a message.
Daniel Adebowale took it to Facebook to share timely Instagram screenshots sent to the person he sent him direct messages on the platform.
The prompt from Instagram to the sender reads: “Daniel appears to be in Nigeria.”
It further states: “Don’t share personal information with people you don’t know. A stranger’s photo or money request may be a sign of a scam”.
