Abia Governor Alex Otti announced a moratorium on the Labor (LP) National Working Committee, which announced that he was from Julius-Abure.
The party-led party announced yesterday that Dr. Otti, Senator Ireti Kingibe, Senator Darlington Nwokocha, House Members Victor Afam Ogene, Amobi Ogah and Seyi Sowunmi.
When the governor made the announcement, in a statement by his special media and publicity adviser Ferdinand Ekeoma, he described Abure’s so-called moratorium, which he described as the party’s former president, as a ruse.
The statement is titled: “Abure is a clown who desperately searches for the crown”
“The attention of Abia Governor Dr. Alex Otti was suspended by former President Julius Abure along with other prominent Labor leaders of the party.
Abure and his comedian’s statement is not only a joke, but an offense to democracy by an irrelevant stimulator who desperately use the name of Governor Otti to advance their self-service economic agenda.
For the record, the Supreme Court of Nigeria is the Supreme Court on the Land, rightly, clearly stated that Julius Abure is no longer the President of the National Labor Party.
The judgment consistent with the LP Constitution laid the foundation for the establishment of the National Career Council led by Nenadi Usman, which deprived all powers of all powers in order to serve as the President of the Labor Party.
The committee formed by Senator Nenadi Usman’s National Caregivers Committee was summoned for hours and responded to allegations of financial theft, counterfeiting and opposition against his grave misconduct, against his opposition and anti-party activities, Abure decided to send out party members through half the party to announce the party and other party members to declare as suspended members of the emotion and other Emote.
We force Nigerians to ignore Abure’s ridiculous statements and continue to place him and his accomplices as a bunch of clowns desperately looking for a crown they don’t deserve.
Finally, we call on the Police Inspector General to promptly arrest Mr. Abure’s pseudonym, and INEC should ensure full implementation of the Supreme Court’s judgment to uphold the integrity of the Supreme Court and protect our democracy”
