When Rema and Burna Boy made history, earned official city honors, and celebrated their global influence and cultural influence on the international music industry, Afrobeats took center stage in the heart of Boston.

Magic happens when Afrobeats encounters town hall. Nigerian superstars Rema and Burna Boy not only conquered the global rankings, sold-out arenas and reward stages, but also engraved their own names in Boston’s history books.

The City of Boston pays homage to both artists with prestigious citizen recognition, but rather proves that Afrobeats’ move is no longer just a global movement, but a global movement that turns their music into entertainment not just for entertainment, but for the formal city business.

In addition to receiving the certificate of honor, the city has merged Burna through the wealthy Afrobeat, Reggae and Dancehall to bridge the culture, making him one of Africa’s greatest music ambassadors.
