Nollywood veteran Tito Harrison reveals the painful cost of his battle with liver disease and chronic ulcers – a kind of homeless, self-driving, almost alone
In an emotional chat with Biola Bayo’s podcast, Harrison shared that he sold his house, car and personal belongings to keep his life alive. Eventually, he no longer could afford the rent and had to move in with his mother-in-law.
“I sold my house, the car and everything I had to pay the hospital bills…we had to stay in my mother-in-law’s place.”
Despite everything, he called his wife his greatest blessing – a man who never left.
“My wife stands by my side when everyone leaves me. If I come to this world again, that’s my wife, I’ll get married.”
Harrison also expressed deep disappointment at his colleagues who laughed at his situation rather than helping him.
“Someone said, ‘Tito Harrison is done. He lives in his wife’s mother’s house now…If you can’t gather around me, don’t kill my reputation.”
