British Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch urged Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s government to pass the party’s deportation bill to lower immigration.
Conservative leaders warned that in a video posted on her X handle, about 2 million immigrants will automatically claim “British citizenship” next year, demanding that Mr Steamer pass the Conservative Deportation Act.
“From next year, 2 million immigrants can automatically claim British citizenship. That’s almost twice the population of Birmingham,” Ms Badennock said. “We have proposed a deportation bill because we are committed to reducing immigration.”
She released a Deportation Act on Tuesday aimed at reducing immigration.
Ms Badenoch highlighted the benefits of the Deportation Act because “all foreign offenders, mandatory age checks, stricter visa rules make the Human Rights Act disability in immigration cases, makes asylum support reimbursable rights and does not have the right to remain in the UK if you rely on benefits.”
“Unless that’s the law, we won’t solve it. Labour should adopt it now. It’s time to get tough. That’s what the Conservative Deportation Act offers. Our country is home, not hotels,” she said.
