    NDLEA arrests woman hides cocaine in private p@rt at Harcourt Airport

    Agents from the National Drug Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) arrested a woman, Ihensekhien Obehi, at Harcourt International Airport, in an attempt to smuggle cocaine to Iran through an unusual hidden tactic involving her private parts, stomach and handbag. Obehi, disguised in a headscarf, was arrested on Sunday, May 3, 2025 while attempting to board a flight to Iran via Doha.

    NDLEA spokesman Femi Babafemi confirmed in a statement that she had three cocaine inserted in her private parts, two packages were hidden in the false bottom of the handbag, and 67 particles, which she ingested.

    During the search, she found that she inserted three packs of cocaine into her private part, two large packages were hidden in the false compartment of the handbag, and she also swallowed 67 particles of the 67 grade A drug. So she was placed under the excrement. Among the excrement, she was emitting for several days, and she emitting 67 parts of debris. After taking 67, it was impossible to proceed and decided to insert the remaining three into her private parts.

    In a related incident, on Friday, May 9, NDLEA agents from the Murtala Mohamed International Airport in Lagos intercepted a 22-year-old British country Campbell Slifer, who owned two suitcases, including two packages containing 35 loud towers, including a powerful marijuana with a total weight of 37.6kg. Babafemi revealed that Slifer, who had been convicted of drug trafficking and robbery in the UK, told investigators he was recruited in London to receive drugs in Thailand and transport it to Nigeria.

    Further anti-drug operations in Nigeria also resulted in major epilepsy seizures. In Niger State, NDLEA officers intercepted an oil tanker, and three other vehicles transported 246 bags of skunks, weighing 3,047 kg along Suleja-Kaduna Road. Four suspects – Christopher Onyema, 47; Benedict Etineruba Young, 54; Chukwudi Ujue Jerry, 30; Mohammed Abdullahi Danasabe was arrested. Recovered vehicles include Honda Odyssey bus with board number YAB 667 CZ, Bay bus with registration number GWA 125 TQ and another Honda Odyssey marked ABJ 230 CN.

    In Lagos, a loud 1.1 kilogram hidden from the pillows in Thailand was intercepted at the courier service center. In Bauchi State, NDLEA patrol personnel on Bauchi-Gombe Road intercepted a Toyota Tundra Jeep with a board number RBC 111 DW, carrying 526 skunks and weighing 505kg. Isaac Onogure, 37, and Ikechukukwu Peter, 44, were detained. On Saturday, May 10, a hiding place in the Rijiyar Zaki area was attacked in Kano, resulting in the recovery of 31 barrels containing 775 liters of codeine syrup. Two suspects, Hafizu Isa Uman, 34, and Ismail Shehu, 48, were arrested.
