In a recent Instagram post, actress and film producer Mary Njoku shared a profound reflection message that sparked a conversation.
She asked, “Why are you still here and many others (some better, kinder, more faithful) have disappeared?”
Mary challenges the usual reactions like “God loves me” or “This is grace”, urging deeper introspection. “Yes, grace is real. Yes, God loves you. But He loves them too.”
She questioned many statements of default purpose given by Christians, e.g. “I am here to win the soul for Christ.” Point out other people who are more effective for this.
Instead, she urges everyone to stop and reflect honestly:
“Is this my breath for another day?”
