The suspect kidnapper of the Kwara petrol dealer, identified as Alhaji Abbas and his manager Abubakar Issa, demanded a ransom of N200M.
The LIB reported that the victim was kidnapped in the Gbugbu community in the Edu local government area of Kwara State on Friday, May 9, 2025.
The Gunner also reaped with undisclosed money and set up Abbas’s Toyota Sienna vehicle.
According to the victim’s relatives, the ransom was a note to Alhaji Abbas’s wife, which further put the family in trouble.
Despite the painful news about the demand for ransom, relatives also said that security agencies have been mobilized and are actively working to ensure the safe release of Alhaji Abbas and Abubakar Issa.
“It is understandably devastated that this family was destroyed by this need,” said the relative. “But we have made sure that security agencies take this matter very seriously and do everything possible to bring them home safely.”
