With the victory, the Flying Eagles reached the semifinals, where they will meet the South African winner in clash with the Congo Doctor. Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) President Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau expressed his pleasure in qualifications, calling it a basic achievement.
He stressed that while winning the World Cup tickets was the first goal, the team now had to focus on winning the game.
