One narrates how his father, a landlord deals with a broker who tries to deceive potential tenants.
He claimed his father found out that the agent was trying to increase the agreed rent by 50% before it was given to the unsuspecting tenant.
When the landlord discovered this, he cut the rent for the tenant, which angered the agent.
The landlord’s son wrote in recounting the incident on X: “So, my father has a 2-bedroom apartment for 600,000 people to rent. One person came to check it out and claimed it was for his sister. He wanted to pay, but dad insisted on meeting with his sister first.
“The next day, the ‘sister’ showed up with his fiancé and said they were getting married next month and needed this place urgently. Dad asked them how much they paid in total and they said #950k. Dad just laughed and knew that the guy was an agent. He told them to pay them 350k of #350k for his wedding gift.
“Now the agent came this morning and yelled at my dad angrily, ‘Super his business’. Dad sat there and laughed.
“Not every busy person deserves protection, some should be disturbed.”
