Diddy’s ex-girlfriend singer Cassie is expected to be one of the early witnesses of the trial.
The defense revealed last week that they plan to argue that Didi and Cassie engage in mutual violence throughout their relationship.
The Manhattan federal court is hearing the opening statement from Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Type X trafficking trial.
Meanwhile, prosecutors said they were unable to communicate with “Victim 3” and they might not show up to testify against Didi.
They could not find a female victim at the heart of the case. She doesn’t live in New York where Combs was tried.
Attorneys, a three-time Grammy winner, said prosecutors mistakenly tried to commit crime from a partisan-loving lifestyle that could be indulgent but not illegal.
The combs coerce women into organized contact with drugs and then keep them consistent through violence, prosecutors said.
Diddy faces a series of allegations related to his alleged physical abuse of women. He was charged with three counts of crimes – racket, S£X trafficking and transportation engaged in prostitution.
