Music tycoon Sean Didi Combs officially opened on Monday, May 12, 2025, with federal prosecutors accusing hip-hop idol of leading his celebrity and media empire that has covered up decades of criminal businesses.

Federal authorities claim Combs operates his own business as one aspect of criminal activities, ranging from sexual trafficking and kidnapping to bribery, obstructing justice and forced labor. Combs has been in custody since his arrest in September 2024, and he pleaded not guilty to all charges and recently refused a plea agreement.
If convicted, the music tycoon faces the possibility of life imprisonment.
