The 14-year-old striker is currently part of Nasr Youth Academy and Portugal has already led 3-0 on the bench in the 54th minute, thanks to a hat-trick by Braga’s Rafael Cabral.
His proud father, Cristiano Ronaldo, celebrated the moment on social media, writing: “Congratulations on your Portugal debut, son. Be proud of you.”
The match was the Portugal opener in the Vlatko Markovic International Championships in Croatia. The U-15 team will continue their campaign against Greece on Wednesday and Friday, before ending on Sunday against confirmed opponents.
