The Gombe State Police Command has arrested a 47-year-old man, Mohammed Magaji, who allegedly took his 2-year-old stepdaughter in the Tudun Wada Shamaki dormitory.
Command spokesperson, DSP Buhari Abdullahi revealed this in a statement Tuesday, May 13, 2025, saying the arrests were conducted after Magaji’s wife’s complaint.
“On May 5, 20125, about 0932 hours, a formal complaint was received from a Hauwau usman “f” Tudun Wada Hamaki dormitory reported that around 5/5/2025, about 090,000 hours, her husband brought his husband to his two-year-old stepdaughter’s room and had no knowledge of her.
“After receiving the complaint, a team of police officers drafted it to the scene and arrested the above-mentioned suspects.
“The victim was taken to an expert hospital for medical care.
“After the investigation is completed, the case will be prosecuted soon.”
