Chan 2025 Bonus
Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) revealed a significant boost to the 2025 African National Championships (Chan), boosting it to $3.5 million.
This adjustment increased by 32% compared to previous versions in Algeria.
CAF President Patrice Motsepe said enthusiastic about the upcoming event:We are excited about the total energy of CAF African National Championships (Chan) Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda in 2024 and have raised the winner’s prize to $3.5 million, reflecting a 75% increase. ”
Host and Start Date CAF Chan 2025
It was revealed that Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania will all host the CAF African National Championships (Chan), which is scheduled to start on August 2, 2025 and end on August 30, 2025.
This will be the first prestigious tournament to be held in East Africa since 2016
The event was originally scheduled for September 2024 and experienced two delays, first shifting to February 2025 and now extending to August, due to ongoing infrastructure development challenges in the host country: Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
