Real Madrid player Raul Asensio may face a lengthy prison term with some other players as they allegedly shared sex tapes of minors.
The High Court of Granganaria announced on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 that the investigation into the alleged incident has been completed and ordered the formalization of criminal proceedings.
The court confirmed that four football players, including Asensio, could face criminal proceedings over allegations of recording and distributing sexual content involving minors and another woman.
Other participants involved include Andres Garcia, Ferran Ruiz and Juan Rodriguez held in June 2023 at a beach club for Canadians.
Asencio, who called for an investigation into his alleged role, dismissed the court in February 2025. Since then, the 22-year-old continues to make 41 appearances in all competitions when he debuted in November 2024.
