On Thursday, May 29, 2025, Ebonylife Place will open with the grand opening of Afrobeat, an inspired by the spirit, rhythm and soul of Afrobeats music.
Located in the heart of Victoria Island in Lagos, this groundbreaking restaurant is not only a place to eat, but also a homage to Africa’s most influential music genre. At Afrobeat, guests are invited to embark on a journey through the rich landscape of modern African cuisine.


Each dish – salad, soup, power and dessert – expresses love for bounty from the land of local farmers. The menu is a celebration of tradition, a harmonious blend of traditional Nigerian flavors and diffuse influences.

When guests enter the space, they will be welcomed by the atmosphere filled with the nature of Africa. The Afrobeats atmosphere is summoned through souvenirs and music videos of iconic superstars, by traceis the initiator and promoter of the world-renowned type. The furniture is decorated in warm tones of red clay and terracotta with textured wood and earth, while the chandeliers of the future of Africa emit a soft glow.


At one end of the room, an African king’s carved mask looks at the observation – the outpost of identity and pride. On the other hand, an abstract mural comes alive and responds to the spirit of rhythm, rebellion and Renaissance. Attendance were legendary artists, the next generation of creators, cultural historians and global figures, all of whom helped shape the Afrobeats movement.
