Liverpool’s midfielder Ryan Gravenberch was named a young player of the season 2024/25, and was recognized after Liverpool’s Premier League title won.
The 23-year-old is one of the best midfielders of the just-concluded Premier League season. He finished second, duel, tackle and minutes, and contributed four assists in all areas of the Liverpool championship season.
After a public vote combined with a vote from a panel of football experts, he was named the winner of the award to determine the best player to start the season’s 23 and under.
He defeated candidates Liam Delap, Anthony Elanga, Dean Huijsen, Cole Palmer, Joao Pedro, Morgan Rogers and William Saliba. He is the second Liverpool player to win the award since he launched on 2019/20 after Trent Alexander-Arnold.
