
Tinubu hangs N45,000 monthly allowance in front of students at the Technical College. The federal government has announced a monthly N45,000 allowance for students from technical colleges nationwide.
This is a landmark that revitalizes technology and vocational education and training.
According to him, the program is part of a broader strategy to reposition the TVET industry and make it a more attractive and broader strategy to traditional college education.
Mr Bugaje explained that the new policy aims to quickly advance the TVET industry and expand registration at the sub-level.
In addition to the monthly allowance, the government will pay for teaching fees, compensation for industry supervisors (called “master” lecturers), students conduct industrial attachments, and fund the cost of skill certification, he said.
