Tyian Powell, a single mother from the United States, recently shared a story that quickly attracted attention when her companions discovered she had six children after a sudden end of the date.
Powell explained on her Facebook page that she had been talking to the man for about a week before they decided to face it. Their phone conversations were friendly and casual, and they all agreed to save more personal topics for their first meeting.
However, in the date when the children’s theme appeared, Powell revealed that she was the mother of six children. This revelation immediately changed the attitude of men.
Despite the sudden change, Powell said she tried to alleviate his concerns by emphasizing that she was well-organized, confident and attractive, and should not view six children as a negative factor.
She wrote:
“So I’ve been chatting with someone for about a week and yesterday we had our first date. We had a little chat over the phone and agreed to have a deeper conversation in person.
“The date was good until we discussed the kids. I told him I had 6 kids and his mood changed. I asked him what was wrong and he said a woman with 6 kids was not ideal for him.
“I explained that I live together and I’m very attractive, and the number of kids I shouldn’t care about. I also said, maybe he’s not enough for women of my caliber. Then, he got up and got up without paying!”
